The US Congress passed a law that established a set of uniform laws to govern how bankruptcy was handled. These laws were placed under a system called the bankruptcy code. In this code there are chapters that pertain to various issues in bankruptcy. One such chapter deals with allowing the debtor to start a new life whilst they pay off their future debts. This bankruptcy chapter 13 is one of the popular bankruptcy laws.
In bankruptcy you generally need to find some way of living while at the same time you pay your creditors what you owe to them. This sounds a civilized way of dealing with this mater but the truth is otherwise.
In most cases creditors will try to force you to pay them the various amounts that you owe. This form of force payment can range from a simple letter to harassment via telephone calls and even visits from your creditors. With bankruptcy chapter 13 you have the best way of stopping this force payment and you are given a way to live again.
With a bankruptcy chapter 13 filing, for the person who has gotten into a debt which seems to be eating up their life’s earnings, this law allows the person to find a reasonable way of paying off their debts.
The terms of repayment will need to be discussed with your creditors in your lawyer’s presence. This way the terms of payment will be in accordance with a court approved payment scheme. With this payment scheme your debts can be paid off with an amount that you can afford to spare from your monthly living expenses.
Once you have filed for bankruptcy chapter 13 doesn’t allow your creditors to talk to you about your credit claims. There is a ceiling period of 5 years for you to pay off any outstanding debts that you have. This repayment will follow a plan that the court has decided will allow you to live and also pay your creditors off.
During the period of your bankruptcy chapter 13 gives the court the right to supervise how the repayment is progressing. Your interests for this entire time period will be looked after by your lawyer. There are other benefits that you can find with this bankruptcy chapter 13 law.
In this law you will be able to receive a full discharge option for your bankruptcy claim if you have managed to pay of all of the outstanding debts. The other great advantage of bankruptcy chapter13 law is that anyone can file for bankruptcy chapter 13 as long as they have a regular income with which they can pay off their debts.

No More Hard Closing
It's 4:30 pm, I've
been up since 4:30 am.
I am tired and can barely keep
my eyes open
but it doesn't matter.
The evening rush of members are
about to fly through the doors,
fires will need to be put out and
members will
have to be closed on training whether
they want it or not.
I need to be on, filled with energy
and motivation
not only for myself but for 30 other
personal trainers.
Alas, so is the day in the life
of a Personal Training Manager.
This is what it was like day in
and day out trying to squeeze
blood from a stone and make the
ridiculously large sum of $120,000
a month quota that was sent down
upon me and my club.
The fitness industry is like every
other industry, a big business that
doesn't care and I think that is
what is at the heart of most problems
with people's health today.
Nobody cares.
They just want to sign you up, take
your money and hope you don't blow
it.
This stressful situation is what
I lived and breathed for years
until one day I had enough. Instead
of working my ass of for a company
that would never change, I had a
vision and decided to cut loose
and go it alone.
Best decision I ever made.
I took all the practices I knew
were good and left everything that
wasn't.
No more hard closing, only showing
people the value and service of
what personal training could and
should be.
Never again will someone need to
be pitched on the
idea of how personal training will
help better their lives.
They will be shown.
I always said that if you have
to sit down with someone and convince
them they need to train with you,
then you haven't done your job up
to that point.
If the value and service was present
throughout the prospective client
will feel it. They'll have decided
if this is something that they can
afford to do in either time or money
and come to a decision without needing
to convince them.
I believe selling is something
that is being done all the time
and not a brief moment in time.
You're selling yourself, your vision,
your values and your ideas from
the second you meet someone.
For those of you who have worked
in sales you know what I'm talking
about. I can only encourage you
to not fall victim to the pressures
of the quota.
Talk to people from the heart,
sell them something because they
need it and you know it will help
them. Follow these rules and you
will succeed no matter what.

My Struggles with eBay and Useful Tips I Have Learned
In an attempt to increase my family's monthly income, I started selling on eBay. I found that eBay can be an extremely exciting thing and an extremely frustrating thing all at the same time.
eBay Fees. When I first started selling on eBay I was not prepared for all the fees I would incur. I lost money on many things I was selling at first. I quickly learned that you need to sell something for at least $1.25 to cover all eBay and PayPal fees assuming there was no investment in the product you were selling. I would recommend opening an eBay store if you list more than 30 things a month. A store is $15.95 a month, but your insertion fees are much lower, .06 cents versus .55 cents and up. I also stumbled upon auctiva.com which is a FREE website that will list your items on eBay. This site will allow you to add additional pictures and schedule a specific time for a listing at no additional costs (if done directly through eBay you would incur additional fees. I have also been able to create a master template for my auctions through this program. Auctiva.com has saved me money and time.
Inventory Sourcing. I was very successful on eBay when I was selling things around my house that I no longer needed. If it sold great (some things I was amazed about how well they sold) and if it didn't sell I just put it in the Goodwill pile. No real loss there. I struggled with the inventory I purchased at garage sales and discount retail stores. I had an hard time selling what I purchase. It is much more difficult to swallow putting something you recently bought in the Goodwill pile. Till this day, I conitnue to struggle with finding a niche that will bring in a steady stream of income for me.
Shipping Dilemmas. When I first started selling on eBay I spent a small fortune on packing supplies. The best discovery I made was that if you send something via USPS Priority Mail they provide you with FREE envelopes and Free Boxes. You can even order the envelopes and boxes over the Internet on the Post Office's website and have them sent to your house at no cost to you. You can also print your own postage from your computer (you will need to invest in a scale - you can find one on eBay for less than $20 including shipping) and receive Free delivery confirmation. You can also schedule a pick up your package at your home free of charge with prepaid postage. No more waiting in line at the post office.
Overall, I have made some money with eBay. I have picked up a lot of tricks along the way and I am sure that there are many more out there that I still need to learn.
